Olive Oil Discovery Pack

These olive oils come from the oldest olive oil region in Catalonia, likely established in pre-Roman times. The olive trees are located between the “Els Ports” (los Puertos de Beceite-Tortosa) and the Godall mountain ranges. There are many thousand-year old olive trees in this area that you can visit by bicycle or on a scenic hike. The olive varieties farga, sevillenca and morruda are native to the Montsià region and they have distinct characteristics to olives from in the rest of Catalonia.

The Discovery pack includes two bottles of extra virgin olive oil and one bottle of extra virgin olive oil which has the Baix Ebre Montsià Protected Denomination of Origin, all artisanal and made exclusively with the three olive varieties that are native to the Baix Ebre-Montsià region: farga, morruda and sevillenca. This oil is a special edition Lacrima Olea, oil made from olives grown on the best plots that belong to members of the Godal co-operative, who produce the oil under the supervision of the Regulatory Council of the Baix Ebre – Montsià Protected Denomination of Origin (D.O.P).
